The Hotel Porta Nuova is located close by one of the eight medieval gates of Assisi called Porta Nuova.We are in a strategic position to visit the town on foot because we are situated only a few steps from Assisi's most renowned monuments, famous for their religious and artistic relevance.
Built in the early years of the 1900s of the typical pink stone quarried from Mount Subasio, near Assisi, the Hotel Porta Nuova was originally a large private home, renovated in 1988 as a hotel. The family management helps create its warm and relaxed atmosphere: Enjoy your stay!

Hotel Porta Nuova has private car park for each room, bar, TV room, reading room, panoramic terrace. On request are facilities for handicapper. In front of the hotel is the bus stop called Largo Properzio where pass the buses from and to the train station. Directly at the front office of the hotel it's possible to book touristic tours of the town, rent a car, buy tickets for events and theatre shows, reserve canoe tour and other sports: we are always on disposal for every information.

- way out ORTE
- take direction to: TERNI-SPOLETO-FOLIGNO-ASSISI (or Todi - Assisi - Foligno, with both possibilities man reaches Assisi in circa 100 km from Orte)
From BARI:
- take the High way "A14" direction BOLOGNA
- way out CIVITANOVA MARCHE
- take direction TOLENTINO - MUCCIA - FOLIGNO
- take the motorway direction ASSISI - PERUGIA
FROM NORTH:
From MILANO:
- take the High way "A1" direction ROMA
- take exit SINALUNGA-BETTOLLE
- take the motorway SS75bis direction PERUGIA - ASSISI - FOLIGNO
From BOLOGNA:
- take the High way "A14" direction south FORLI' - CESENA - ANCONA
- take exit CESENA
- take the motorway E45 to SANSEPOLCRO - CITTA' DI CASTELLO - (PERUGIA)
- and then SS75 to ASSISI - FOLIGNO - SPOLETO
For all the direction you are coming from take exit ASSISI - SANTA MARIA DEGLI ANGELI NORD
- Follow direction to Assisi - Porta Nuova parking B, from here 200 meters more and as soon as you see the petrol station of API turn left, make the last curve and enter in our private car park!
