Messonghi Beach Hotel

AVAILABLE APRIL TO OCTOBER - The Messonghi Beach is a large complex surrounded by gardens with plants, flowers and lawns leading onto a shingle beach and is a favourite with British holidaymakers. The resort lies between the villages of Moraitika and Messonghi on the Ionian coast of Corfu Island. The two villages that surround the resort revolve around the beautiful beaches during the day, which vary from private coves, perfect for relaxation, to large sandy bays that are great for water sports and boat excursions. And once the sun goes down, the whole resort becomes a hub of buzzing clubs, bars and restaurants. Location Corfu Town is 25km away and the villages of Moraitika and Messonghi are 500 metres and a mile away respectively. There you can find small secluded bays to a long beautiful sandy beach. During the day the life revolves around the beaches and the water sports and then as night falls the whole resort is one big party. You can find from small typical Greek tavernas serving traditional dishes to luxury restaurants which serve a variety of menus. The many Bars and discos play any music you wish to hear, from golden oldies to the latest hits. This is indeed a superb place to spend your holidays. There´s an on-site news stand, which sells newspapers, books, postcards and souvenirs. A boutique where you can buy unique presents for family and friends. Plus, there is also a hair salon that offers cosmetic treatments as well as hair styling. Accomodation This holiday complex offers 920 rooms suiting every taste and budget. All rooms feature en-suite shower facilities, telephone, balcony and terrace, and the superior rooms also offer air conditioning, fridge, satellite television and hairdryer. Most of the rooms either sleep three or four people, with a folding bed or bunk beds for children. The family two-room bungalow can sleep five people, perfect for either two adults and three children or four adults and one child. Half board guests receive breakfast in the form of continental enlarged breakfast buffet from 07.30-09.30 and dinner in the form of buffet offering a big variety of Greek and International dishes from 19.00 to 21.30. The Beach Grill is an a la carte restaurant, open daily from 12.00 to 15.30 offering a variety of items such as grilled souvlaki kebab, hamburger, chicken, sausages, as well as wide choice of salads.
